Description

God Bud was produced by Jordan of the Islands, a well-known Canadian seed bank. They combined an almost pure Sativa strain called Hawaiian with a potent purple Indica strain to formulate the ‘God Bud.’ You can now find the flower up and down the West Coast as well as Colorado. This Hybrid has won a few awards in its day – most reputably the High Times Indica Cup in 2004 and has been a dispensary favourite in Vancouver, BC.

Appearance & Aroma

The plant is moderately short and compact and typically grows to about three to four feet in height. This heavily-branched plant creates dense, large flowers which are purplish due to its Purple Skunk heredity. God Bud’s flowers include a blanket of frosted trichomes, and bright orange pistils grow prominently amongst the plant’s leaves. Its flavour is earthy, with a hint of sweetness from its Hawaiin lineage.

Effects & Benefits

Purple God Bud is a top-quality and multi-award-winning Hybrid strain, perfect for late evening or nighttime use. Along with euphoria and relaxation, the bud can impart drowsiness and sleepiness, especially when consumed in higher doses or by new users. The strain is excellent for insomnia and depression and has even been shown to be a good appetite stimulant. Medicinal consumers may find this strain helpful in addressing conditions like chronic stress, insomnia, and pain. Its relaxing and uplifting effects make this strain an excellent choice for unwinding after a long and busy day.
