Every stoner has had the dream of their own marijuana smoking room at one point or another, and we’re here to make your dreams come true! The ultimate stoner room isn’t just about making your own private area where you can blaze with friends and/or strangers; it’s also about creating an atmosphere where you feel comfortable in your own skin, free to be yourself in every sense of the word. You’re welcome to be as creative as you want with this project, but here are some tips we think will make all the difference!
1) Go for a Comfortable Couch
Now that you have found a great spot, it is time to think about the living room. You may want a good comfy couch so make sure you invest in one that will last and feels good when you sit on it.
This part of your stoner room should not be overlooked as this is where you will spend most of your time. Find a good spot for your TV or media system.
It’s nice to have the television set up in a place where you can watch while lying down comfortably on your sofa. And if there is an empty wall space, consider hanging some art work on it so that you can change things up from time to time.
2) Choose Deep Colors
One key to creating a good vibe is to use colors that are thought to be deep and relaxing, such as purple, lavender, and blue. Bright, poppy colors might not be what you want for your stoner room – these will just make you feel like being high on weed all day. As for decorating your space with things you might not normally find in your average home (such as lighting fixtures), try to be creative and buy things at yard sales or thrift stores that are already beat up.
3) Add Rugs
One of the best things you can do for your stoner room is add rugs. Carpets and rugs will cover up any spills and stains, making it easier to clean. They’ll also give your room a lot more personality than bare floors. Throw in a cute area rug, or add some warm colors with an abstract pattern that suits your style! Rugs come in all shapes and sizes, so you’re sure to find one that fits just right. Pick out something colorful for under your coffee table or dresser, like this hippie-inspired design from West Elm .
4) Add Relaxing Lighting
To really bring your space together, look into adding dimming lights or low-level spotlights. These types of lighting fixtures come in a wide variety of styles and colors so it’s easy to find one that fits with your home décor.
5) Throw in Some Plants
Living green is not just for hippies these days. Houseplants can create a healthier environment and can filter impurities out of the air like benzene, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, and more. It’s also possible that studies have shown houseplants can have a calming effect on people who live in close proximity to them!
When thinking about how many plants are necessary for a stoner room, it’s important to know how much light will be available to them.
If you have a lot of light or if there is an open window in your room, the smoke from weed can dissipate quickly. You should have a really high fan with thick blades for best results and make sure the ceiling doesn’t have any openings to let the smoke out of your room. If you’re inside an apartment, it’s best to use PVC piping and clear vinyl that you can create into any shape from which you want the smoke to escape, while allowing fresh air in.
7) Weed Smoking Accessories
Besides a large stash, you’ll need a variety of smoking apparatus and supplies in order to keep your room stocked and maintain your position as the go-to smoker among friends. Here are five items you should have on hand when creating your dream stoner room
1) Vaporizers – The ideal way to consume weed these days, vaporizers provide high-quality smoke without the intense odor.
2) Smoking Hookah – There’s nothing like a few hours spent sharing pot with your friends while passing around a joint of choice quality marijuana using a premium hookah pipe with all the necessary shisha flavor combinations.
3) Rolling Papers – Having a variety of papers on hand can enhance any smoking experience.
