The ultimate stoner room isn’t just about making your own private area where you can blaze with friends and/or strangers; it’s also about creating an atmosphere where you feel comfortable in your own skin, free to be yourself in every sense of the word. You’re welcome to be as creative as you want with this project, but here are some tips we think will make all the difference!
1) Go for a Comfortable Couch
Now that you have found a great spot, it is time to think about the living room. You may want a good comfy couch so make sure you invest in one that will last and feels good when you sit on it.
This part of your stoner room should not be overlooked as this is where you will spend most of your time. Find a good spot for your TV or media system.
It’s nice to have the television set up in a place where you can watch while lying down comfortably on your sofa. And if there is an empty wall space, consider hanging some art work on it so that you can change things up from time to time.
2) Choose Deep Colors
One key to creating a good vibe is to use colors that are thought to be deep and relaxing, such as purple, lavender, and blue. 4) Add Relaxing Lighting

Living green is not just for hippies these days. Houseplants can create a healthier environment and can filter impurities out of the air like benzene, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, and more. It’s also possible that studies have shown houseplants can have a calming effect on people who live in close proximity to them!
When thinking about how many plants are necessary for a stoner room, it’s important to know how much light will be available to them.
6) Ventilation
If you have a lot of light or if there is an open window in your room, the smoke from weed can dissipate quickly. You should have a really high fan with thick blades for best results and make sure the ceiling doesn’t have any openings to let the smoke out of your room. If you’re inside an apartment, it’s best to use PVC piping and clear vinyl that you can create into any shape from which you want the smoke to escape, while allowing fresh air in.
