Acting funny, and you don’t know why? It might be because you just enjoyed some might Purple Haze. Purple Haze is a Sativa-leaning Hybrid strain (85 Sativa/15 Indica) that takes its title from its lineage and Jimi Hendrix’s 1967 song. This bud is considered a distinct phenotype of staple strain Haze, even though some cannabis enthusiasts trace its origin to a cross between Haze and an undefined purple-flowering Indica. In any case, the flower offers mentally stimulating effects and a complex, berry-like flavour.

Description

Appearance & Aroma

In addition to having powerful bag appeal, Purple Haze is a sociable strain that makes a great conversation starter. Cannabis novices, beware: this strain can be pretty potent and disorienting.

Purple Haze makes its attraction clear right off the bat, with medium to large-sized buds that maintain a spade-like formation, narrowing down from a broad base to a pointed tip. True to their Sativa heritage, these flowers have a relatively loose structure, with their soft and fluffy-looking leaves spiralling loosely outward from their stems. The leaves are a patchwork of fresh green and the dark purple that gives this strain its name. Finally, these buds are coated in sticky crystals, accounting for their psychoactivity.

When correctly cured, flowers of Purple Haze transmit off a dank, musty smell. A second whiff exposes some tart, berry-tinged notes. Meanwhile, grinding up or breaking apart these nugs releases an herbal odour familiar to fans of Haze. Purple Haze gives off a pretty smooth and easily ingested vapour when combusted in a joint or a pipe. The smoke tastes sweet and hashy upon exhaling. Notably, despite its purple colouring, this strain has no discernible grape flavours because the pigments that define its colour do not correspond to its taste.

Effects & Benefits

Purple Haze serves to work its magic soon after users inhale its flavorful smoke. Like many other Sativas, this strain goes first to the head, resulting in side effects like a slight tension around the temples or flushing in the cheeks. Once these sensations abate, users are given access to a higher plane of thought in which ideas jump around in free association in unexpected new connections. Specific thoughts or beliefs may strike the consumer as more attractive than they otherwise might — and may not seem particularly engaging to bystanders who aren’t under a similar influence.

As such, Purple Haze can spur conversation in social settings with like-minded individuals, serving as an icebreaker even when used among new people. Those who are not overwhelmed by the cerebral energy that Purple Haze gives might also find themselves able to ease into a heavy workload, whether it’s open-ended and imaginative or consists of complex analytical tasks. This strain’s physical side might creep in bit by bit as time progresses.

This body high is stimulating and slightly trippy rather than relaxing the user and undoing Purple Haze’s buzzy effects. Users may feel a new connection to their body or a unique groundedness. This eventual mixture of physical and mental qualities makes this bud a great way to enjoy activities that include both body and mind, like gaming or exercising. In the proper conditions and with the right company, Purple Haze may even be an effective aphrodisiac. As the high goes down off after a few hours, you may feel your energy start to dip — but even so, this bud isn’t likely to make you crash and isn’t recommended for using before bedtime.

Purple Haze’s uplifting effects have some uses for medical cannabis patients. Physically, the strain can ease minor inflammations like headaches or cramps. The strain’s cerebral properties can help attention deficit disorder focus on single tasks. Its mood-altering effects might also temporarily improve symptoms of moderate stress or depression. Because it tends to bring about reasonably strong recursive thinking patterns, Purple Haze is not a good option for users prone to panic or paranoia.

Ordered Purple Haze along with Green Goblin. First smoked both on their own – Four stars because Purple Haze was a bit of a harsh smoke but mixed with Green Goblin, mellowed out the harshness, and amped up the cerebral enjoyment. Being a DC Dark/Bright Night fan aka Batman – Green & Purple synergy had me grinning like the Joker. A+ service from the CC9 team.

Giggly.. euphorique a souhait… terpy comme on les aime… pour le prix c’est un très bon choix pour la amateurs de vrais sativas. Aurait pu être un peu plus potent mais fait quand même très bien le travail pour le prix.
