Description
Appearance & Aroma
Bubblegum grows as a shorter plant, usually between 120 to 160 centimetres, and is relatively easy to grow. Novices can grow this strain but should be wary that plants must be carefully clipped to control height since this strain doesn’t have much side-branching. Bubblegum flowers between 55 to 60 days can yield 350 to 500 grams per square meter. It has a particular bubblegum aroma that is almost impossible to hide.
Effects & Benefits
The Bubblegum strain is most often used by those enduring stress, anxiety and mood-related disorders, allowing them to find some much-needed relaxation time. It is used by those with eating disorders like anorexia and chronic nausea or vomiting. The Indica traits, Bubblegum is also suitable for pain relief and sleep for the insomniacs.
The strain has also increased users’ creative juices and its lazy Indica properties. Users can expect the usual unfavourable effects when using Bubblegum – dry mouth and eyes, dizziness and slight paranoia. There are a few that may also experience headaches from this strain.
Bubble Gum emanated from the Indiana Bubblegum, whose genetics are primarily a mystery. The one thing we are sure about is that it was mostly Indica hybrid. The Indiana Bubblegum was an incredible clone strain that made its way to Amsterdam into TH Seeds’ hands. Many generations of inbreeding later were eventually able to produce the stable flower that is so widely available today.
